DragonArt: Evolution - Final Cby *neondragon

Digital Art / Paintings & Airbrushing / Illustrations / Storybook

My third how-to-draw book, DragonArt: Evolution* is due out this August. This time it's cover-to-cover, all about dragons, and features a higher illustration and page count then either of my two previous books. It's been over a year in the making, and I'm so excited to finally see it published!

The books can currently be preordered from amazon, barnes and noble, and most major book sellers, but the cover used in their catalogues was a placeholder brown earth serpent one. It is the same book as this one.

In late August (once I have the books in-hand) I'll be offering signed/sketched artist edition copies of the book off my website, and I'll be sure to post a journal entry about it. Artist editions will $20 + shipping.

Just bought this, going to try to do a few of the tutorials every day, once in my sketchbook and then once again in Inkscape :3 thanks! I have been looking for a good book of tutorials that teach wire frame sketches so I can draw the poses better, as I can do fairly well drawing in general if I heavily reference existing pictures by other artists, but I need to learn to use wire frames to give me more flexibility to do original poses. Your book looks like it will help quite a bit with that, among other things <3

I just bought this book a couple days ago! I had no idea you were on Deviant Art! That's pretty sweet.
I've studied it intensely ever since I bought it and have even been able to put to practice a lot of the things you discuss in the book, mostly on blackboards in class rooms though. xD
