Packs of reclusive Wildclaw dragons are migrating out of the Viridian Labyrinth in search of new territory. As they traverse the land they take up the cause of flights that are decisive and strong.
Wildclaw dragons run in small, loosely knit packs. These packs are fluid. Individuals leaving and joining new packs are a common occurrence. A dragons who switch packs begin at the bottom rung of social status in the new pack, advancing as it challenges its way up the hierarchy.
Wildclaw dragons are most commonly found among the nature, plague, and fire flights, and are an uncommon sight in other flights. They an oddity in water or ice flights. Individuals and families that join mixed breed clans often have a difficult time finding their footing in their new homes.
These critters are from Flight Rising
, a browser-based game where players lead a clan of elemental dragons to supremacy. You can breed, raise, battle, adventure, and watch your clan grow! We're running a kickstarter*** to raise the funds for the first year's worth of server costs on a dedicated server.
Thanks to the amazing outpouring of support from our beta testers and followers, we were able to make our goal and are pleased to say that Flight Rising will be opening to the general public and launching in just a few months time! Thank you so much! We could not have done this without you.
will be running until April 9th if anyone would like the chance to support the project and nab some of our backer rewards. We're inching our way to some reasonably spiffy stretch goals, and are so excited to present them to you at launch!
***Kickstarter for Newbies: Kickstarter is a fundraising platform where creators can pitch projects and receive pledges from those interested in their creation. Kickstarters are either successful or they are not, reducing the risk to the backer of backing a project that does not meet its goal. If the project reaches its goal, all the backers have their pledges go through. If the project does not meet its goal, no one is charged and the project does not go through. Kickstarter has been a boon to the independent gaming and arts community, allowing projects that small teams would not otherwise be able to produce receive crowdfunding to bring their vision to life.
