I tried using the same sketch cleanup I've been using, only painting some colored flats underneath the image instead of simply erasing a hole. Turned out kind of nice. I may ink and color this for real, but I always lose something when I ink the pencils.

Lovely paper texture from Hibbary and marble texture from CG Textures.

Absolutely incredible! This has to be my number one all-time favorite Gryphon pic! I love the wing flex, choice of colors, the feathers, and the over all anatomy that you portray here. Simply splendid!
